Short Run CNC Machining

We are a walk-in player with extensive short-run CNC machining experience. Success with any repeat CNC machining starts with state-of-the-art tools. Napoleon Machine has a long track record of investing in new machining tech.  For example, we use custom-built modular fixtures, magnetic work-holders, shrink fit tooling, automated probing, and the latest in Master CAM software.

While state-of-the-art equipment is essential, having skilled tradesmen is vital. Our team of expert machinists has hundreds of years of combined short-run CNC machining experience.
As such, our team is likely to catch machine print issues before the part hits the machine. We are experts in our trade, and we hope our customers find comfort in that.  After all, CNC Machining is what we do every day, all day.

Lastly, producing a quality product separates us from many of our competitors. If you have a short-run CNC machining project coming up, reach out and chat with us.  You can email sales@napoleonmachine.com or schedule a meeting. Be sure to check out our welding services before you leave.

Quality built into every process.

Properly inspecting parts is an important aspect of our business. However, if you are catching errors in the inspection process, it is too late. There are expenses associated with rework, and often errors cause late deliveries. This is why we build quality into every process. For example, we have kickoff meetings for each job. Our welders, machinists, programmers, project managers, and painters meet and review prints in close detail and iron out any issues on the front end. We have invested in modular fixtures, shrink fit tooling, pre-setters, automated probing software, and more.  All of these tools help to ensure quality in manufacturing.

Short Run CNC Machining
Pictured above are examples of magnetic work holding setups. There are times when magnetic setups are better than vises and clamps. For instance, with the magnets, we can machine five sides in a single position and setup. These tools make a big difference in repeat CNC machining.
Do we have the certifications needed to work on your short run CNC machining project?

“Thank you to you and your team for all of the hard work and effort that has been invested into this order. You lead a very professional team. From machinist to quality to management everyone was great to interact and work with. The level of commitment to work with us on the changes in schedule from the beginning and the whole way through the order as well as pulling in the last few dates were of tremendous help.  I can tell you that had we placed this entire order through the other shop that was on this job the outcome would have been different from a delivery and quality aspect. The quality and workmanship on this job has been the best I have experienced to date on any job I have outsourced.”

Are short lead times important to you?

Our scheduling tool sends out lead time notices when a machine or department gets low on work.  This allows our customers to take advantage of cheaper rates and faster turn-around.
