We have a long-standing reputation as a high-end precision welding shop. The great thing about a companies reputation is, it’s not self-appointed. If you would like to speak with our customers, email our sales team at firstname.lastname@example.org, and we will provide you with referrals.
The best way to describe our shop is a medium to large part precision welding shop. We typically work on parts that require precision heavy plate welding, from a half-inch up to 10 inches (0.25 m). Our equipment can also handle prototype or production parts weighing up to 70,000 pounds (31.75 tons).
For a shop to be good at precision welding, it helps to have the right tools. Therefore, we have provided our team with the BLUCO FRS (Floor Rail System). Every welding job starts with the part setup. If the part setup is wrong, the weldment is wrong. BLUCO is a modular weld system that works like a giant erector set. Machine part setups get laid out in CAD before the job hits the floor. Our welders then review 3D models of machine parts and machine part setups on their tablets, making the physical part setup quick, easy, and, most importantly, accurate. We work hard to service our customers. That means delivering quality parts on time, every time. However, if we make a mistake, we’ll do what it takes to make it right.
Owner Kevin Febrey gives a quick overview of our precision welding shop.
We are a medium-sized weld shop that delivers significant results. Our expert welding team has been tested and approved by the most stringent customers and weld procedures. Each welder carries multiple AWS certs, and we have a CWI on staff. So if you are looking for a precision, production, or prototype weld shop, we can help. Do you want to see more videos like this? Quality built into every process.
Properly inspecting parts is an important aspect of our business. However, if you are catching errors during the inspection process, it is often too late. There are significant expenses associated with rework, and many times errors will lead to late deliveries. This is why we build quality into every process. For example, we have kickoff meetings for each job. Our welders, machinists, programmers, project managers, and painters meet and review technical data in close detail. This helps iron out potential issues on the front end. We have also invested in the BLUCO Floor Rail System, which is a precision modular welding tool.

Not only are we a precision welding shop, but we also offer precision CNC machining. In this photo, we show a job that required both precision welding and machining. You see our modular weld setup on the left, which has the same datums as our modular machine table on the right. These two systems improve the speed at which we process jobs. But, more importantly, it's much harder to make mistakes.
