Steel Welding
Steel welding is the most common type of welding we perform. There are many grades of steel, and our veteran team has worked with all of them. Therefore, the best way to describe our shop is a medium to large part welding shop. We typically work on parts that require heavy plate welding, from a half-inch up to 10 inches (0.25 m). Also, our equipment can handle machine parts weighing up to 70,000 pounds (31.75 tons).
We have always looked to support our welding team with the best tools. For example, we have invested in the BLUCO FRS (Floor Rail System). Every welding job starts with the part setup. If the part setup is wrong, the weldment is wrong. BLUCO is a modular weld system that works like a giant erector set. Machine part setups get laid out in CAD before the job hits the floor. Our welders then review 3D models of the part and part setups on their tablets, making the actual setup quick, easy, and accurate.
We work hard to service our customers. That means delivering quality parts on time, every time. However, if we make a mistake, we’ll do what it takes to make it right. Would you like to chat with our team? Email sales@napoleonmachine.com or you can schedule a meeting.

Steel Welding Capabilities
We go big.

Experts in Welding

Quality built into every process.
Properly inspecting parts is an important aspect of our business. However, if you are catching errors during the inspection process, it is often too late. There are significant expenses associated with rework, and many times errors will lead to late deliveries. This is why we build quality into every process. For example, we have kickoff meetings for each job. Our welders, machinists, programmers, project managers, and painters meet and review technical data in close detail. This helps iron out potential issues on the front end. We have also invested in the BLUCO Floor Rail System, which is a precision modular welding tool.

Start to finish metalworking capabilities.
As a job shop, we take on unique jobs that require unique solutions. Therefore, we have built a reliable supply chain that can take on any type of metalworking process that we are unable to handle in-house.
