From trade school to graduate school.

Kevin Febrey’s story is an American story where hard work turns into opportunity. He grew up in a blue collared home in Rochester, New York, where he went to a local trade school. Then, at age 16, he got his first job in a machine shop. Kevin is a mold-maker by trade and has spent years making airfoil blades that required high precision CNC machining.

From there, Kevin worked hard and gained authority in each position. In total, he has over 40 years of machining experience and 25 years in shop management. Also, he put himself through college, earning his BBA and MBA.

Kevin’s purpose for writing this blog is to share his experiences, and he hopes each post will be beneficial to others. This blog covers skilled trade tricks, basic skills, shop leadership, industry news, and much more.
